Alumni engagement is at the core of the vision of IILM. The aim is to foster life-long relationships with our students and alumni. The institute endeavors to provide support to all alumni for all aspects of growth and development.
Alumni Lunch and Dinner: In form of informal lunch and dinners, alumni connect with the present students and share their experiences. This is a good opportunity for them to network and interact with faculty and students from the current batch.
Alumni Engagement: There are many platforms where the alumni are invited as a panelist to share their experiences and challenges about the transition from college to corporate life. The event is followed by interaction with faculty members. Alumni are involved in mentoring current students through the alumni mentoring program.
It has been a dream come true to be called an Alumini of IILM. At every stage of my career, I am thankful to the college for getting the best out of me. The academics and co-curriculum of the college has helped me sharpen my professional skills and enhance my personality. I am glad to have been associated with the college even today, after having passed out in 2010. The journey in those two years spent in the college is memorable and most treasured.

“I am proud of my alma-mater and thankful to professors for making me what I am today in a short span of time and looking forward for a growing career, because without that foundation I could not be on this path. It was IILM which taught me to look into a problem with a multi-dimensional approach. Each professional is carrying a value in himself/herself, building that value create your value in market.”

Doing undergraduate and post graduate, both from IILM, I spent 5 years of my life at IILM and it has indeed been a rising learning curve. Hence, I owe a lot to my college for my learning, excellent teachers and friends for life. Not just confined to academics IILM has also helped each one of us enhance other co -curricular activities, also giving us opportunities to showcase our talents and bring the best out of us.
MS. NEHA CHANDRABatch 2009 – 11 (Assistant Manager: Sales & Marketing, ITC Hotels)
At IILM I was able to develop my skills for the basics required for any job – focus on execution and communicate articulately, other institutes had set process to follow for everything – placements, alumni communication, etc – at IILM we, the student body had to develop all these process ourselves – which was an invaluable learning experience.
Thus, IILM prepares people for the modern workplace. Striking the intricate balance between developing the individual and the intellect is ILLM’s unique capability.”
MR. ATUL SINGHBatch 2008 – 10 (Territory Manager: Key Accounts (UP & UK), Dabur India Ltd.)
Today when I stand at a significant juncture of my life, I find myself running short of words to articulate my momentous edition at IILM. It indeed gives my immense pleasure to reminisce those delightful moments I have spent here. The time spent in the institute was not only enriching and rewarding but it also helped me in knowing my capabilities and improve and enhance the same.
I would like to express gratitude towards my faculty for their support, guidance and encouragement which played a substantive role in treading ahead successfully. The memories of a unique camaraderie which I shared with my batch mates will always be deep engraved in my heart. With the passage of time when I would want to unwind, I just need to look back and remember those fabulous two years of my life.
MR. ANURAG SHARMABatch 2006 – 08 (Direct Taxes, PWC)
With 14 years into my career, I realize more and more how profound an impact the IILM PGDBM program has made on me. Not only did it give me a wonderful start to my career, transforming me from an engineer into a well-equipped business professional, but it also embedded skills like diligence, insistence on delivering the best, self-motivation and ability to cope with uncertainty. It taught me the skills to work in an international environment.
Thanks to my role in the IILM Governing council, I remained in the close circles touching base with the campus on a constant basis. I pleasantly observed that the quality and depth of the PGDBM program have improved significantly over time. The students now have more international exposure, better access to corporate circles and hence improved networking potential with professional life.
I had the opportunity to mentor some of the graduates. I feel proud that no single one among these young graduates has disappointed me or their subsequent employers. Many of them are already at a leadership role with their organizations.
Munish BhatiaBatch 2000 – 02 (CBS Operations Lead, Gurgaon & APAC PMO Lead, Cargill International)
I feel IILM offered me the best opportunity for development of my skills in community interaction and development. I have found that the method of teaching is different from the one I am used to. Most of my courses have hands on aspect. IILM makes sure that the student is comfortable and progressing well in the studies and their life.
